Preparing Alaskan Pollock Filets:
First, wash the Alaskan pollock filets thoroughly and then pat them dry with a cloth. In a bowl, mix 1 cup of flour, 1 tablespoon of onion powder, 1 tablespoon of black pepper powder, 2 tablespoons of salt, 1 tablespoon of garlic powder, and panko breadcrumbs. In another bowl, add 2 eggs and 1/4 cup of milk and mix them together.
Now, take each filet one by one and first dip it in the flour mixture to coat it, then dip it in the egg and milk mixture. Coat it in the flour mixture again. Repeat this process with all the filets. Now, let them marinate in the fridge for 25-30 minutes. Remember, the longer you marinate, the more flavorful the spices will be in the filets. Finally, deep fry the filets until they are golden brown on both sides.
